Libman Education Releases Companion Video Tutorial to ICD-10 Root Operations Flash Cards

Presented by nationally recognized ICD-10 expert Lynn Kuehn, MS, RHIA, CCS-P, FAHIMA, the free video breaks down how to properly use the cards in an engaging, concise manner.
"The video's design is to help those with the flash cards to apply them as quickly and easily as possible," said Kuehn. "The graphical presentation makes the tutorial fun and engaging. This set of nine 5×7, double-sided cards is designed by Gail I. Smith, MA, RHIA, CCS-P, also a nationally recognized ICD-10 expert. The cards help coders to learn the ICD-10-PCS root operations quickly and understand how to identify each in a medical record. The front of each card lists the root operations grouped by common characteristics. The back of each card provides a detailed definition of each root operation, highlighting how to distinguish one root operation from another, and provides examples of each.
