About Liberty McAteer
Liberty is an associate in Moses & Singer's Intellectual Property practice group. His practice covers a broad variety of technology matters, including enterprise software development and licensing, cybersecurity and privacy law compliance, product rollouts, intellectual property protection and venture financing. His representation has covered finTech, edTech, healthTech, eCommerce, internet-of-things, cloud products, mobile software, enterprise SaaS, social media, audiovisual media-sharing, eDiscovery and many others.

Additionally, Liberty has represented clients through numerous corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, governance and financing matters. He has negotiated funding rounds, credit facilities, financing transactions and company sales in industries ranging from energy production to logistics, financial services, consumer packaged goods, online publications and SaaS products, among others.
Liberty received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School with a full merit scholarship where he focused on intellectual property and graduated cum laude. He received his B.A. as a triple major in math, physics and philosophy at Wesleyan University, graduating with honors. Liberty is also an active coder, now working primarily in Javascript (Node).
