The article, 'Great, I'm Divorced, Now What,' discusses the various financial issues newly divorced individuals might face. Karu and Presti provide a step-by-step guide for handling finances, budgeting, investment management, pensions and retirement plans, social security, estate plans, insurance, and cohabitation.

Michael H. Karu, CPA/CFF, is a member of Levine, Jacobs & Company, LLC, a Livingston-based accounting and consulting firm. Since the time of her clerkship, Ms. Presti worked for two boutique law firms that specialized in family law and has focused her practice on family law matters. Ms. Presti has successfully litigated at the state and appellate level concerning all aspects of family law, including but not limited to divorce, dissolution of civil unions, termination of domestic partnerships, custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution and pre-nuptial planning as well as related post-judgment issues, such as emancipation, child support enforcement, and implementation of settlement agreements.
