Letters for our Elders Announces Collaboration with 10 New Senior Care Facilities all across Connecticut
Granby, CT - James Crocker, founder of nonprofit organization, Letters for our Elders is excited to announce their organizations' exciting new collaborations.
- (1888PressRelease) May 23, 2023 - On May 10th, in a company wide email, founder James Crocker announced that LFE will be distributing letters to 10 more Senior Homes all across Connecticut.
This jump is unprecedented for LFE, as they are a recent nonprofit founded back in 2020.
Crocker hopes that with this new expansion, more volunteers will join the effort to reducing loneliness in Senior Homes.
Letters for our Elders is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020 by then thirteen year old, James Crocker. Crocker founded LFE after a visit to a senior home opened his eyes to the pandemic of loneliness. Thus leading him to start a letter writing effort. A letter writing effort is something he suggests anyone can easily accomplish by simply reaching out to area nursing homes and asking if they accept cards and how many residents they have.
