    H.O.P.E. Project Rags to Pads
Millions girls and women cannot afford sanitary pads every month, and with the lack of water creating unsanitary conditions – women are forced to use dirty pieces of cloth-which in itself can cause health issues and disease. Their lack of access to sanitary pads also restricts their ability to attend school and to work (if they are fortunate to have employment).

Hope Crossing Borders will be purchasing equipment that will manufacture a crucial but expensive commodity in Haiti, sanitary pads. This project will not only create employment for some of the neediest women, it will also provide education and enhance the ability for Haitian women to provide their families with a better quality of life and positively impact their entire community.
