Let's Make a Movie, a comedy about filmmaking is scheduled for release on December, 14th, 2012
Producer Usher Morgan announced the acquisition of 'Director's Cut', a film by Elena Mugdan. Morgan, by use of his film production company Digital Magic Entertainment will re-cut, rename and re-release the award-winning film on Friday, December 14th, 2012.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2012 - Usher Morgan, CEO of Digital Magic Entertainment and the director behind The Thought Exchange film, announced the acquisition of 'Director's Cut.' The company will re-cut, rename and re-release the film with an additional investment of $100K. The film will be released to theaters on December 14th, 2012. It will be produced and distributed by Digital Magic Entertainment under its new title, 'Let's Make a Movie'.
The film stars Hallie York, Johnathan Fernandez and Brian Cheng. It is centered around Cassie (played by York), a young college dropout, determined to find her place in the world by producing and directing the next great blockbuster. The problem? Cassie has no money, no cast and no talent to make this "indiestaster". The result is a fun family comedy, driven by the desire of one teenager to make her dream come true, while having to face "real life".
The film received positive reviews and won the Indie Spirit Award in the New Hope Film Festival and the Boston International Film Festival, as well as Director's Choice Award in the Kent Film Festival.
Let's Make a Movie will be re-released on Friday, December 14th, 2012 by Digital Magic Entertainment.
