- (1888PressRelease) June 04, 2016 - Medical Emergency can happen any moment and it is common for emergencies to cause chaos in a hospital.
OnCall teamed up with Leo TechnoSoft has developed and launched the hospital management application via BOMT (Build Operate Market Transform), a Technology Business Accelerator matured by Leo TechnoSoft for the Startups.
The hospital operations related to treatment, scheduling, appointments, billing is iterative non-stop. Documents and plans related to them are often unorganized. OnCall needed an expert who could work with them as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The application developed by Leo TechnoSoft turned out to be helpful in this regard.
The OnCall application is used for categorizing all doctors as cardiologists, anaesthetists etc. It is useful for planning the schedules and shifts of doctors and for assigning the patients to the respective doctors.
During the Build stage of BOMT, the preliminary steps regarding the development OnCall application was planned. Leo TechnoSoft team developing the application planned the bare necessities of application along with basic features. The functionalities of application were planned. Layouts of the application pages, sections and forms to be used for adding doctors and patients to the database were planned. Earlier, there was no way to plan and schedule the shift for OnCall doctors. Hospitals needed a system to assign patients to the doctors so that every doctor would have the right number of patients to attend. On these needs, solutions were planned in the Build stage.
At the Operate stage of BOMT
Technology Business Accelerator, layouts were designed. The development of application was started by SaaS developers using Asp.net, SQL, JQuery and SaaS-Tenant Multi-Tenancy framework. Finally, the application was made operational. This application also created a database of all doctors and patients so that they could be contacted in the case of emergencies.
Now the challenge was to ensure that every person using the mobile version of this application should not gain access to confidential information of patient. Another issue was to keep all medical records of patients accessible only to the doctors. These issues were overcome by introducing the security of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPPA) compliance.
As the third stage called Market, Leo TechnoSoft pitched the OnCall to hospitals and doctors, highlighting the features that could ease the tasks of managers. This is how OnCall connected to its target customers and potential customers.
Lastly came the Transform stage where OnCall connected to various hospitals and sold the application developed by Leo TechnoSoft to them as a Startup. With revenue rising, preparations started with plans to add some new features to OnCall application.
