Project, a Jazz, rhythm and blues band that features singer, songwriter, motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Wendy Hicks, for a concert to honor the legendary performers of Blues Alley. This "Honoring the Legends" concert is the brainchild of Wendy Hicks who has taken on the mission of music renewal through the independent artist movement.
Wendy and Blues, which this series has affectionately been coined, brings a creative awareness to a new era of musicians, artist and music lovers on July 7, 2014 two shows 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm at Blues Alley, 1073 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington DC.
Wendy Hicks is the creator, editor and host of both SoulFusion Magazine and SoulFusion Magazine show - Indie Voice, an internet tv/radio show that provides indie artists with information and resources needed to start a project. The show entertains its listeners with special segments, such as, 'Oh My Goodness' news, taking the listener back to the good ole 'back-in-the-day' feel good music with 'Do You Remember', artist interviews, events happening 'Around Town' and concludes with an inspirational/motivational quote and lesson to 'Set Your Mind, Set Your Week'.
