Legal Awareness Camp by IMS Law College Students
Recognizing the need to impart legal awareness to women and girls regarding their rights in particular and villagers in general about their rights as consumers, IMS Law College, Noida organized Legal Awareness Camp on September 16, 2013 at Parthala Khanjarpur near Noida Uttar Pradesh.
- (1888PressRelease) September 20, 2013 - In this camp law students namely Monika sShahi, Richa Pandey, Komal Shukla, Jyoti Tomar, Madhuri Sharma, Soumya Singh, Divya Gupta, Hemlata Kharyat and Neeraj Yadav made presentations on various issues like foeticide, child abuse, woman education, domestic violence, widow remarriage, child labour, child marriage and others through verbal plays and a skit on Consumer education.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr Govind Prasad Goyal and Ms Surabhi Guleria-faculty members through the unstinted support of Village Pradhan Shri Raghuvar Singh Yadav. The impetus for conducting such camps was given by the great visionary and philanthropist Shri Alok Agrwal, Advisor, IMS and Sr. Professor and Mentor IMS Law College Shri Pankaj Grag, experienced advocate.
In furtherance of this initiative , IMS Law College, Noida has many other rural development programmes in pipeline to be conducted in the villages to educate the rural mass following the motto the real development of nation lies in rural development only then the dream of integrative and all inclusive growth could be realized.
