- (1888PressRelease) April 20, 2011 - Biodiesel consulting group, Lee Enterprises of Little Rock, Ark., is pleased to announce the addition of appraiser, Catherine J. Rein, MBA, AM, to its team of biofuels consultants. Rein received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and her MBA from the University of Houston. She is an Accredited Member of the American Society of Appraisers in Machinery and Equipment and is the principal owner of Sandalwood Valuation, LLC, in Louisville, Colorado. Rein is experienced in equipment appraisals in the oil and gas industry, including refineries, processing plants, and utility companies, and has presented on alternative fuels appraisal opportunities to the American Society of Appraisers International Conference. She previously served as a Senior Financial Analyst for Brown & Root Energy Services, where she developed business plans worldwide. She joins Lee Enterprises to lead appraisals and business plans.
Rein notes that she has done detailed financial forecasting and developed over sixty business plans and performed over one hundred appraisals over the past several years. She believes that her affiliation with the biodiesel consulting group will bring a new benefit to both the company and the industry. "Lee Enterprises Consulting is the largest biodiesel consulting group in the world" says Rein. "They have amassed a knowledge base that is just not found anywhere else in the biodiesel business," she continues. "I think that my skills and my fervent belief in the future of alternative fuels make me a perfect fit for this group".
"We often have financial institutions and clients that need certified appraisals of biodiesel equipment for various reasons," says Wayne Lee, principal owner of both Lee Enterprises Consulting and National Business Brokerage, Inc. "Being both an Accredited Member of the American Society of Appraisers and an analyst capable of financial forecasting and writing business plans, Cathy brings a unique skill set to our group," he says. "This will benefit not only our biodiesel consulting practice, but also our business brokerage firm where buyers and sellers of biodiesel plants generally want appraisal services. Cathy's skills help us in so many identifiable ways," Lee concludes, "and there are probably additional opportunities in conjunction with our other consultants that we have yet to even recognize".
