Slate's sponsored performers included Clayton West, The Mary Selvidge Band and Matt Portella in a show that combined new talent with the return of past favorites.

Rising star Mary Selvidge of The Mary Selvidge Band is the Carolina Music Awards' 2011 winner of Best Country Band. Clayton West's appearance fulfilled his long-awaited return to the area, as did Matt Portella's performance in his first headline appearance at Tin Angel.
