* 2nd place - "Top Five-ish Screencasting Tips" by Ron Hogue, United States
* 3rd place - "What is a PLC?" by Shahpour Shapournia, Iran
More than $2400 worth of prizes were awarded to the winning contestants. "I feel humility and joy as news of winning this contest sinks in. It was probably a hard decision to judge the winner, especially as all contestants put in their VERY BEST and created something unique and outstanding." said Omar, creator of the top winning video. "The winning status will propel me to make more of these videos as I find solutions to my health challenges. In finding my way out of my health mess with my videos, I hope to point the way out to others."
The 3 winners were interviewed by Learn Camtasia owners, Michelle Schoen and Lon Naylor, during a special webinar entitled "How'd They Do it? Screencast Contest Winners Tell All!" Winners shared their tips, techniques and how they went from amateur to winner status. A replay recording of this webinar can be seen at http://www.learncamtasia.com/contestwinner.
