Leading CNG vehicle companies partner to bring the second EPA-certified, diesel to CNG conversion package to the intermediate class vehicle market
Plans for continued collaboration and expansion on both light and heavy-duty vehicle conversion facilities set the stage for further expansion of a nation-wide deployment of end-to-end CNG vehicle and fueling programs for fleets.

The availability of the DT 466 series engine is an important landmark due to its popularity in the school/transit bus and delivery truck market and forms an integral part of the two companies' ongoing collaboration in meeting the needs of the rapidly expanding demand for vehicles powered by CNG.
The companies have already partnered together to successfully engineer, fabricate and install the first EPA-certified, dedicated diesel to CNG conversion package for the Mercedes 906 Engine. This new DT 466 package significantly expands the number of vehicles that can now utilize clean, less polluting fuel in the nation's large metropolitan areas.
Conversions may be done on any of the Diesel DT 466 series engines model years 2005 - 2010. NGV Motori, USA/CVS's partnership is also making available EPA-certified, CNG Dedicated Conversion for the Ford E 450 Super duty 6.8L V10 engine and the E350 Super Duty 5.4L gas engine. Models created up through 2007 are eligible for conversion.
This strategic collaboration between NGV Motori, a pioneer in CNG technology and systems development for over 30 years, and CVS, a leader in end-to end CNG vehicle and fueling solutions, positions the two companies to continue to lead in the rapidly expanding light and heavy-duty CNG vehicle markets in the United States.
