Recent research among HR managers responsible for hiring and recruiting showed a strong interest in making it easier and faster to post jobs to paid job boards like Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice and Jobing. In particular, the interest was directed towards Monster and CareerBuilder as 80% of respondents claimed interest in "one-click job posting" to each of these sites.
Based on this research, ApplicantStack decided to partner up with both CareerBuilder and Monster to turn this desired capability into reality. As a result, ApplicantStack integrated their applicant tracking system with these online job boards and now customers can post their jobs directly to Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com with only a couple clicks, using their existing inventory.
ApplicantStack President, Nathan Shackles, explains a brief walkthrough of how it works, "First, you need to connect ApplicantStack to your Monster and CareerBuilder accounts using a simple setup process. You use a pulldown menu to select "Monster" or "CareerBuilder", enter your username and password and simply select "Active" as the status to activate the integration."
"Once Monster and CareerBuilder are set up, their names will appear on the Launch tab of your jobs with a Post Job link. Note that your job must be Open in order to post your job to Monster, just like your primary job board. After you click "Post Job" you will see a form all the available posting options available. Many of the fields such as Reference Number, Job Title and Job Description will be pre-populated based on the information on your job application and the others are empty for you to fill in as appropriate. Finally, click Submit to post the job."
After a job has been posted it gets indexed by the job board and is then available to be viewed on either the Monster.com or CareerBuilder.com websites. The Job Details can also be reviewed online allowing for changes to the job status, the URL, the post date and expiration date. Once the expiration date has been reached, the job posting will automatically come off the Monster.com or CareerBuilder.com job board. Importantly, any candidates who apply online will automatically show up in the ApplicantStack database and their source will be set at Monster or CareerBuilder. This means there is no need to retrieve applications from the website or to manually import them to your database. All this is done automatically through the ApplicantStack integration.
