  • (1888PressRelease) June 07, 2011 - Le Meridien Amman, a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, concluded last week the blood donation campaign for it associates, under the supervision of the National Blood Bank. The facility at the hotel was equipped with all technical requirements to render the yearly process a success.

    General Manager of Le Meridien Amman, Giuseppe Ressa commented on this initiative by saying: "This is not the first time that we organize an internal blood donation campaign. I am proud to say that our associates have been always more than eager to assume their social responsibility towards the humanitarian welfare of the community and the noble causes that directly impact the lives of thousands of people."

    Forty associates donated blood, gathering a total of 40 units from all blood types. These units were donated to the National Blood Bank to be used when necessary.
