Le Cafe Julien in Marseilles, France will Host Emergenza on September 20
Emergenza will bring its rock festival to the Le Café Julien on Friday, September 20th!
- (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2013 - At Le Café Julien rock, pop, metal, hip-hop, reggae and all other styles of music are welcomed. The Espace Julien is a true meeting place of the Marseille city center. The venue has been a springboard for local emerging talent. Its doors and stage are open to amateur and professional artists. It is the heartbeat of the music scene in the region.
Emergenza is the worlds largest and most famous rock festival for up and coming unsigned bands. The festival is the brainchild of a group of music minded friends. They made their dream a reality in 1992 by putting on there first festival in front of over 300 people. Five months later those numbers rose to 3000 and a new legend was born. Emergenza now holds events in more than150 cities across the globe.
The festival is held in knockout rounds. Each band takes to the stage for 30 minute sets. The first rounds are judged by the attending audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote for as many times as they want for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are judged by a professional jury panel.
Each bands goal is to win the their countries national competition and compete in the international finals. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. The winner of the international festival is crowned "The Best Band in the World" gets a tour, promotion, studio time, free musical instruments and so much more!
Seven bands will be competing on September 20; rock band LRM, punk band Bad in Bed, acoustic band Les prophètes d'Anouch, punk rock band The Davon's, Indie rock band the Antics, rap band Renega and rock band Mary's Insayne.
