Layne “The Auctionista” Brings Awareness To International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia And Biphobia On May 17th Through Release Of New Youtube Series
Canadian entertainer to release new YouTube series "The Helpless Butch".
- (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2019 - Canadian entertainer and philanthropist best known as Layne “The Auctionista” is raising awareness and celebrating International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia with the release of their new YouTube series “The Helpless Butch”. In the first episode, being released online May 17th, expert baker Stacey Bester (Sweet Bakery) teaches Layne the fundamentals of baking as they create a themed cookie from scratch. The cookie made in the episode will be sold at Sweet Bakery from May 13-17 with 100% of the proceeds going to Rainbow Railroad, an international charitable organization that helps lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals escape violence and persecution in their home countries.
This passion for philanthropy comes as no surprise as Layne works with hundreds of non-profits across North America, helping them raise millions of dollars at charity gala events. As Canada’s Top-Ranked Benefit Auctioneer Specialist, Layne has been respectfully coined the “Philanthrotainer”. Layne has shared a stage with figures such as Sarah McLaughlin and basketball GM Masai Ujuri and has given PM Justin Trudeau a few laughs with their hilarious on-stage antics.
