Now that the two-month long expansion is complete, Houston interior design firm Laura U along with home theater design company, Audio Video Designs welcome guests to their official Grand Expansion Celebration on Thursday, July 21st from 6PM-9PM. Bridged by a bright, fuchsia gate and a cafe-lit corridor, the new space complements the boutique's original brick-exposed showroom. The Collection now offers an array of unique gifts and accessories, fabulously scented Voluspa candles and an organic line of baby linens by Coyuchi, among others. Even the most persnickety shopper will be pleased to find a range of product lines like Fringe Studio, Stray Dog Designs, Rosanna and Roost.

In addition to a new façade, Laura U also has an in-house partner, Audio Video Designs. Much like builders work with architects to finesse the finalized plan of a home, Laura U and Audio Video Designs collaborate to create a comprehensive concept that is incorporated in the overall design of the clients' interior. Since 2007, the duo have partnered on several award-winning projects, delivering elaborate and sophisticated designs.

This summer soiree, to be held at 1840 Westheimer Rd, will allow guests access to the chic, new boutique where they can shop for one-of-a-kind furnishings and accessories. While shopping, guests can enjoy signature Laura U cocktails and frozen treats provided by SweetRide!Houston.
