- (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2019 - Laser & Dermatologic Surgery, a premier center for cosmetic dermatology, laser skin treatments, and Mohs surgery in the St. Louis area, announces a new Mohs Surgeon, Robert Weltman, MD FAAD FACMS has joined the team.
“Dr. Weltman brings decades of experience in the treatment of skin cancer using Mohs micrographic surgery,” said George Hruza, founder of Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center. “We’re proud to be the next chapter in his distinguished medical career.”
Dr. Weltman attended New York University College of Medicine and graduated with honors with his medical degree. He also com pleted additional training in internal medicine while attending Weill Cornell University Medical College in New York. He completed his dermatology residency at the New York University Skin and Cancer Center. From this point, he completed his fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, training beneath Dr. Fred Mohs, the developer of the Mohs surgery technique used for precise skin cancer removal.

Before joining the staff at the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center, Dr. Weltman held a number of positions, providing him with the experience necessary to be a valuable new member of the team. He holds several memberships and professional licenses, including Board Certification from the American Academy of Dermatology and memberships in the American College of Mohs Surgery and American Medical Association.
