Las Vegas, NV-AZ (1888PressRelease) December 01, 2021 - The Las Vegas City Boxing Club is a recipient of the House of Boxing Champions Leadership Award and ‘Fight For Safety’ event. Hosted by legendary sportscaster, Al Bernstein, this event is a fundraiser for the club’s youth boxing program and award presentation to Armin Van Damme and Coach Larry Wade.

The City Boxing Club’s ‘BEST’ program is dedicated to assisting at-risk youth to stay out of the legal system and/or provide a positive transition back into their community. Through local partnerships, youth are referred to the program by the Department of Juvenile Justice, Clark County Schools, or directly from families. This program trains youth, while incarcerated, to transition back to their family and community. The ‘BEST’ program emphasizes recreational therapy, provides positive mentorships, and develops communication, stress management, and critical thinking skills.

The event will be held on December 15, 2021, at 3:30 pm at 3401 Sammy Davis Jr. Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89109. There will be a boxing memorabilia auction, raffles, and celebrity photo opportunities to raise funds for the City Boxing Club. Refreshments, light lunch, and music will be provided. This is sure to be a fun and unique opportunity for all ages.
