Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers are 'One Day Closer to You' With Mill Town Music Hall Performance
Family harmony to sing from extensive catalog of hits at March 13 concert.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2015 - After four decades of creating music, Larry Gatlin along with his brothers, Steve and Rudy, will be performing on the Mill Town Music Hall stage on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Through the years, the Gatlin brothers have performed on a variety of stages from their native state of Texas to Broadway to the White House to the Grammy Awards. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
In the early 1970's, Larry began his solo career writing songs and recording albums with his brothers serving as the backup singers. Larry quickly established himself by winning his first Grammy and being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry with his brothers. In 1979, Larry was awarded ACM's "Top Male Vocalist" and he and his brothers officially became a trio.
Over the next decade, the trio produced more than a dozen top 40 hits, including: Denver and The Lady Takes the Cowboy Every Time, as well as Billboard's "Single of the Year" All the Gold in California. Larry and the Gatlin Brothers recently recorded a new tribute song, Johnny Cash is Dead and His House is Burned Down. Larry has also started his own radio show called 'The Gospel According to Larry.'
