Language Vine Learning Service Courses Launched
Language Vine, an online language learning service, has launched their English and Korean courses, specializing in topics necessary for successful travel and cultural immersion.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) July 13, 2010 - Language Vine, an online travel language site, have launched their online Korean and English language courses. The courses, which launched July 2, combine games with social media, multi-media content, continuous self and teacher assessment and bilingual tutors teaching their native language. These travel language courses equip travelers with the skills and confidence to speak the local language when they are overseas. Language Vine targets the social media generation, demonstrating that language learning can be fun and entertaining as well as effective. This approach to language learning will appeal to leisure and business travelers alike.
Language Vine courses specialize in topics specific to stress-free international travel: sight words, emergencies, airports, transportation, business transaction, and accommodations, as well as topics designed to further enrich the travel experience: meeting someone new, going out to dinner, approaching new business contacts, shopping and sightseeing. These topics are taught through tools such as audio MP3 and video lessons, games, 3D flashcards, phone applications, group classes, and private tutoring sessions. All of Language Vine's dynamic tools build learners' skills and increase their confidence about speaking a foreign language when they travel.
"Our mission at Language Vine is to help international travelers engage with local communities, instead of merely sightseeing," said Jean Teillon, CEO of Language Vine. She added, "We also believe that learning should be fun and exciting and our courses demonstrate this." Language Vine's content and delivery methods are structured to allow subscribers to learn at their own pace in a style that works for them. Whether travelers have ten minutes or an hour a day to prepare, Language Vine offers flexible options designed to overcome the challenges of a busy schedule. Additionally, subscribers can pick from a range of affordable packages and take advantage of a seven-day free trial.
French and Spanish will be available at a later date. Japanese and Chinese will launch at a later date, and Language Vine is offering the public an opportunity to vote on the Language Vine website and Facebook page for which language will follow the Spanish launch. Additionally, Language Vine publishes a travel blog to enrich user content. For more information, please e-mail the Director of Marketing, Rebecca McNeil at Rebecca ( @ ) languagevine dot com.
