Land Rover Santa Barbara Celebrates Drivers' Choice Award Presented for 2013 Range Rover
Land Rover's newest model beats out competition in MotorWeek's Drivers' Choice Awards for 2013.

The award was presented last month at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show.

President of Jaguar Land Rover North America, Andy Goss, was present at the auto show to receive the award for the company. At the ceremony he stated, "We appreciate the experts at MotorWeek acknowledging the new Range Rover as their Dream Machine award winner here at the Chicago Auto Show."
The 2013 Land Rover Range Rover has been re-engineered to deliver a more capable and refined driving experience. The 2013 Range Rover is more lightweight and more powerful than any model before and reinforces its position among the finest luxury SUV vehicles. It is the first SUV in the world to feature an all-aluminum unibody structure. MotorWeek acknowledged the improved vehicle engineering and praised the SUV for losing nearly 700 pounds compared to the previous model.
The Drivers' Choice Awards are presented yearly by MotorWeek and are comparable to other awards given by leading automotive journals such as MotorTrend and Car and Driver. Each category is reviewed according to superior performance, technology, and practicality. Each category also reflects current consumer buying trends and the full range of buyer preferences. The awards are announced each February at the Chicago Auto Show.
The 2013 Range Rover will be available at Land Rover Santa Barbara this winter. The starting MSRP price for the award-winning vehicle is estimated around $83,500.
