He functions as the chairman of the organization’s Workforce Readiness Committee. In this capacity he has been instrumental in providing 420 hours of services for three area colleges, including recently conducting mock interviews for students at the University of Texas in Arlington and earlier at Texas Christian University.

Additionally, Mid-Cities HRA president, Kathy Mitchell, recognized Anderson as playing a role in the organization receiving recognition for its efforts in Diversity Education at The Society of Human Resource’s national conference in Atlanta. This involved coordinating the efforts of the AARP’s Putting Seniors Back to Work program with the SHRM Aging Workforce Initiative.
