The annual presentation occurs in conjunction with the 2013 Volunteer Attorney Program Awards and is given in memory of attorney Mike Nast whose life and spirit continue to inspire all who knew him.

Most recently, his volunteer services have been focused on representing Protection from Abuse petitioners. As resources for victims of domestic violence have decreased, Mike has volunteered to help those victims in the community. In addition, Mike generously gives his time in consultation with MidPenn attorneys regarding criminal matters.
