Lancashire Wine Merchant becomes the first to import renowned non-alcoholic wine into the UK

Lancashire-based Turton Wines has become the first wine merchant to import the renowned Domaine de Fleur wine. This is the first time the range of high-quality non-alcoholic wines have been made available in the United Kingdom. End Quote

The Domaine de Fleur winery was set up in 2009 by Alexander Nijeboer and Bea Mienis. Based in the Netherlands, they found the Dutch market had very few alternatives to alcoholic wines. The company has grown rapidly following favourable reviews from respected wine writers.

As well as the UK, their wines are exported to Belgium and Greece. Recently, Greek airline Hellenic Imperial Airways decided to make all flights alcohol-free. After extensive trials of the world's leading non-alcoholic wines, Domaine de Fleur was chosen as its exclusive supplier.
