Premier is a healthcare performance improvement organization of more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals and 81,000 other continuum of care sites. It has worked with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to deliver measurable improvements in care.
The agreement, which went into effect March 1, 2012, and runs through February 2015, allows Premier members to receive specially negotiated pricing on Lakeside's foodservice and healthcare lines as well as its Alluserv and Multiteria specialty brands. Alluserv and Multiteria, which are focused on foodservice in the healthcare and education industries, respectively, were not included in the previous agreement. This expansion gives Premier members access to a wider breadth of Lakeside products to help meet their needs.
"Alluserv allows us to address meal delivery systems and innovative room service equipment increasing patient satisfaction, while Multiteria's unique modular custom designs create a revenue-generating guest experience throughout the facility," said President Joe Carlson.
