- (1888PressRelease) January 28, 2011 - Los Angeles, CA - Lady Gaga fans can get a sneak peak at two unreleased songs from her upcoming album Born This Way, thanks to a new YouTube video parodying the polarizing megastar. According to Tubby, he "came across" bootleg recordings of the two tracks and used them to create a Lady Gaga medley.
Late Sunday, musician/comedian and rising YouTube star Tubbychubcakes posted a video parody to his official YouTube profile, featuring two Gaga recordings currently scheduled to appear on the singer's upcoming sophomore album. TubbyChubcakes is featured singing lead vocals on a medley of "Born this Way" and "You and I" in the viral-bound clip, with sidekick Batman on the drums.
When he launched the TubbyChubcakes YouTube channel in March 2010, Tubby proclaimed that he had come from outer space to save earth from bad music. Since then, he's become best known among a growing legion of loyal fans, self-described as The Tubby Army, for his YouTube debut, Destroy Nickelback With Laserbeams. As Tubby's popularity grew on YouTube and Facebook, The Tubby Army began submitting requests to TubbyChubCakes for new video satires of two of music's easiest targets: Gaga and Justin Bieber.
His new album Tubby Versus The Musical Brain-Eating Disease by indications delivers for fans, featuring songs with titles like "Shave Lady Gaga's Head" and "Eat A Justin Bieber-Mac."
