LABORIE's first tablet bladder scanner quickly and accurately measures urinary bladder volume or post-void residual (PVR) with just one click. BladderVu™ is lightweight and portable and provides instant results.
BladderVuTM's easy-to-use technology provides a live image at the touch of a button ensuring greater accuracy when assessing urinary retention. The BladderVuTM reduces unnecessary catheterizations thereby reducing the rate of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI).
BladderVuTM is fast and easy to use due to its built-in aiming guide; 8" (20cm) high resolution color touch screen; incorporated thermal printer; and USB key for easy data export. Its built-in System on Chip (SOC) and Tissue Harmonic Image (THI) provide improved accuracy while its powerful rechargeable lithium-ion battery and optional rolling cart provide enhanced portability.
