La Isla Fashion Group Llc Partners With Sports Illustrated And Gilt.com For An Exclusive Sale To Benefit The Nature Conservancy
La Isla teamed up with Gilt.com to sell their swimwear, some of which was culled from the coveted Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Issue, via an exclusive sale that benefits the protection and preservation of beaches.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2012 - Members only, designer shopping site Gilt.com is hosting its first ever swimsuit sale celebrating the launch of Sports Illustrated's legendary Swimsuit Issue for 2012, featuring select designs from La Isla Fashion Group's couture swimwear collection. All proceeds from the sales will benefit the Nature Conservancy's efforts to keep our beaches beautiful.
On February 14, Gilt.com will launch the sale with a compilation of the most coveted swimwear trends from designers featured in the 2012 editorial. This includes top styles from La Isla's tribal and psychedelic bikini collections, made with premium Italian and Spanish fabrics with intricate hand embroidery. Each look will be modeled by veteran Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Julie Henderson on the Gilt.com site.
This collaboration will also work to build upon the reach of La Isla's ongoing corporate social responsibility program. Each year La Isla supports various non-profit organizations, including the Surfrider Foundation, Children of the Americas, and Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society.
