Kustom Design Group Applauds Ontario's Recent Government Initiatives
Kustom Design Educational encourages Ontario's efforts to develop and provide financial learning for a stronger economy.
- (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2010 - Calgary, Alberta - Kustom Design Educational, a member of The Kustom Design Group of Companies, announced today its support of a new approach that has been taken by Ontario to integrate financial literacy into the province's academic curriculum.
Beginning in September 2011, Ontario students who are in Grades 4 to 12 will be educated on how to make informed choices and effective decisions when managing and using money-an operation Kustom Design Educational empowers through teaching inspirational courses and programs in Calgary.
"We believe in the importance of financial education and we do promote its availability to as many people as possible," said Kustom Design CEO Mike Lepitre. "There needs to be a lot of research and diligence as to the content that will be implemented to each grade level by the schools, as well as to those who are teaching these financial courses to ensure it doesn't come directly from the tainted financial industry sector that is out to sell, sell, sell!"
Lepitre acknowledges the economic challenges that were faced worldwide the past year, and says that Ontario's movement towards providing a platform for fiscal learning to its youth is the best way to instil good financial habits and the skills needed to succeed in today's multifaceted financial world.
"This is a great step in the right direction," concluded Lepitre.
