The award was presented by PCBC to Garbett Homes and KTGY at the awards ceremony on June 28, 2012, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco and sponsored by BUILDER magazine. The award competition, which is the oldest and most prestigious design awards in the nation, is open to builders, developers, architects and land planners with projects in the United States and all international countries.

Built by Garbett Homes and designed by KTGY, Solaris is located in the award-winning mixed-use, sustainable planned community of Daybreak in South Jordan, developed by Kennecott Land.
