Kryterion to Present on Cheating in Distance Education at 2012 USDLA Conference with Western Governor's University, Penn State World Campus
The panel will provide information to help distance education organizations prepare for and manage exam cheating threats.
- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2012 - Kryterion Incorporated will host a panel discussion at the United States Distance Learning Association's 2012 national conference From the Margin to the Mainstream Monday April 30, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The panel, Cheating in Distance Education: Old Threats, New Threats, Effective Solutions is part of the USDLA silver sponsor spotlight series and will provide information to help distance education organizations prepare for and manage exam cheating threats.
Methods to handle cheating threats and reduce risks associated with cheating will be discussed with experts from Western Governor's University and Penn State World Campus. These methods include better education of the student body regarding the rules and consequences for cheating, better protection of test content, preventing cheating where possible, the use of forensics methods to detect cheating, and how to properly deal with a breach.
