Dow Corning 3145 RTV is mechanically stable for circuit components used in the assembly of PWBs. Additionally, the non-flowing adhesive features high tensile strength with elongation, peel and lap shear values.
DC 3145 RTV provides long-term protection and maintains its electrical properties when bonding and sealing, making it versatile for many uses in the electronics industry. The one-part silicone adhesive/sealant features a UV indicator for automated inspection and is used in mil spec applications. Additionally, 3145 RTV is MIL-A-46146, has dielectric properties, and adheres to a range of materials including aluminum, ceramic and plastic.
