Korean Cultural Centre celebrates its 4th Anniversary in India
Korean Cultural Centre, India celebrated its 4th Anniversary at its centre. Also the book - 'Match Made in Heaven' was launched during the event.
- (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2016 - A grand hearty celebration was observed at Korean Cultural Centre, India. The occasion was 4th Anniversary of KCCI center in India. The occasion even doubled when the book on 2000 - year old love story - A Match Made in Heaven was inaugurated by the director KCCI Kim Kum Pyoung, Writer N.K. Sondhi and Ramesh Mittal Director Lifi Publications. The book shares the story of Indian Princess Suri Ratna from Ayodhaya who had married Korean King Kim Suro of the Karak Clan and became the first queen of South Korean kingdom. Participation of South Korean Cosmetic brand 'TheFaceShop' was seen at the event.
Kim Kum Pyoung- Director Korean Cultural Centre said that Korean Cultural Centre has built beautiful memories in these four years. He thanks all the team members for making this year even more successful. This year South Korea was chosen as focus country in IFFI Goa International Film Festival. The love received from Indian audience during recently organized Korea Festival 2016 at Pragati Maidan was beyond expectations. The recognition of K-POP, K-Food, K-Culture, K- Literature, K-Films, K-Fashion, K-Beauty has increased many folds. Even the travel sector has seen an increase.
Author N.K. Sondhi talked about historical relationship between the two countries. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to South Korea in May 2015 had also talked about the historical story of Princess Suri Ratna travelling from India (Ayodhya) to Korea and about her marriage with Korean King. This book also shares the same 2000 year old love story.
The celebration started with a Samulnori performance - a musical dance form of South Korea. Both Korean and Indian performers together showcased their talents. Team members were Seong Seobin, Shin Jae Eun, Swati, Arushi, Archana, Divjot, Anand and Poornima. Vocal performance was given by Sparsh Bajpai, Abhijeet and Ninou Kipgen. Piano Performance by Tejas Mittal, Ojas Mittal and Deep Chaterjee. At the end energetic K-Pop performance was given by Zephyr group - Vishal, savior, Rahul, Pari and Monu.
