Koleen S. Kirkwood, Special Counsel with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation, Employment and Labor, Government Enforcement, Compliance, and White Collar Litigation Practice Groups.
Ms. Kirkwood has more than twenty years of legal experience serving as counsel in the private, corporate, and public sectors. In her recent term as Special Prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office in the Western District of Pennsylvania, Ms. Kirkwood worked for the Office's White Collar Crime Section and investigated and prosecuted various cases including fraud, financial litigation and asset forfeitures, working closely with the Department of Labor, who has been actively scrutinizing company pension plans.
Ms. Kirkwood has also worked as special counsel to financial consultants to help them identify potential risk areas with regard to fiduciary liability and compliance, and currently serves as practice Co-Chair for her firm's ERISA and Employment compliance Group.
