Award-winning veteran motorsports journalist, television producer and commentator Bob Margolis will anchor the exclusive live broadcast from the infield of the Phoenix International Raceway Media Center. Bob will be joined by VoiceAmerica.com's Host Larry Henry of Pit Pass USA for on the scene coverage from the stands and field.
The VoiceAmerica.com Power Up broadcast team is confirmed to interview Brian Sperber, President of Phoenix International Raceway. Brian Sperber has served as President of Phoenix International Raceway since 2002. In his position, Mr. Sperber is responsible for the strategic vision and operational management of Arizona's premier motorsports venue. In addition to presiding over PIR, Mr. Sperber concurrently served as Chairman of California Speedway in Los Angeles from 2005 to 2007. Under Mr. Sperber's leadership, PIR was successful in acquiring its second NASCAR Sprint Cup event - the Subway Fresh Fit 500™. Debuting in 2005, the evening race, broadcast in primetime on FOX under the lights, placed Phoenix International Raceway in select company as one of only 14 tracks to host two Sprint Cup races a year. In addition to Mr. Sperber, Margolis and Henry expect to interview several drivers, crew, and other key insiders from the event.
