KNIME Extends Virtual Spring Summit 2020
Webinars, Workshops, Courses, Certification Now Offered Through May.

Pivoting to an online user conference, the initial KNIME Spring Summit was a four-day event drawing over 2,000 attendees for interactive keynote sessions and courses. The global turnout was three-fold the number of registrations anticipated for the original live event planned during the same time period in Berlin. The extended KNIME Spring Summit features the following available programs:
• Free Webinars: Presentations of KNIME in Action
Speakers invited to the on-site summit are hosting free webinars, including presentations from an Italian pharmaceutical, Canadian university, Swedish software company, and French IT services organization.
• Free Online Workshops
A selection of the workshops scheduled for the on-site summit is being run in the form of free webinars. People attending the workshops will receive hands-on exercises, which are discussed at the end of each webinar or can contribute to Q&A sessions. Topics include machine learning, building a drug discovery workflow, deep learning for image analysis, big data, and GDPR compliance through advanced anonymization techniques.
• Fee-Based Online Courses
Basic to specialized courses on the open-source KNIME Analytics Platform and the commercial KNIME Server have been adapted to serve the online learner. The L1 to L2 courses are offered for data scientists or data wranglers, with the L2 courses introducing more advanced concepts. L3 and L4 courses dive into specialized topics, such as neural networks and deep learning, machine learning, time series analysis, text processing, or productionizing and collaboration. The price per course starts at $55 (50 euros + VAT).
• Online Certification
KNIME users can become certified as an expert in KNIME Analytics Platform through the KNIME Certification Program, which was developed in collaboration between academia and industry. Four different examinations, L1 to L4, can be taken online starting April 30.
