Klose Training and Consulting, the leading educator in lymphedema education in the United States, has a new home for its administrative offices at 307 South Public Road, Lafayette, CO, 80027.
(1888PressRelease) January 09, 2013 - Boulder, CO - Founder and CEO, Guenter Klose, coordinated the renovation of a 50-yr old Maytag retail and repair shop into the company's new home base. Extensive energy-efficiency features were incorporated into the remodel.
Klose Training also worked throughout 2012 to "renovate" several of its courses, converting them from an in-class format to an online format, making them readily available to therapists from any internet-accessible location in the world. Therapists can now work through the curriculum at their own pace and in the location of their choosing while enjoying a "front row" seat. There's no need to take time off from work or incur travel expenses to attend a class away from home and the course content can be reviewed repeatedly during the four weeks of access time allotted each learner.
Online classes include Elastic Taping for Lymphedema (6.5 contact hrs), Head and Neck Lymphedema Management (6.75 hrs), Differential Diagnoses (2 hrs), Physician's Lecture on Lymphedema (12 hrs), Anatomy and Physiology of the Lymphatic System (7.5 hrs). Soon to come are two more courses: Wound Care for Lymphedema Therapists and the Role of Exercise in Lymphedema Management.
