Kids In The Middle Launches Lunch and Learn Program
St. Louis non-profit brings education program to local corporations.
- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) June 06, 2014 - Kids In The Middle (KITM) kicked off its new Corporate Lunch and Learn Program on May 13 at Boeing. The session, Coping with Divorce: Tips for Separated, Divorced & Remarried Parents, was presented to 40 Boeing employees by KITM speakers Judy Berkowitz, Executive Director and Carol Love, LMFT, Clinical Director. The Lunch & Learn Program aims to assist the St. Louis workforce through corporate presentations as part of a corporate wellness initiative.
"I was impressed by the speakers' knowledge and sensitivity in discussing a difficult topic," said Lisa Wells, Manager of Supplier Management at Boeing. "The Lunch and Learn session was the perfect format for me. I walked away more knowledgeable about helping children through a divorce. The KITM presenters answered all questions in a straightforward and tactful manner."
"We hope to be able to offer Lunch & Learn sessions to more businesses throughout the St. Louis region," stated Judy Berkowitz. Corporations may choose from a menu of topics such as adjusting to change, co-parenting, and tips for grandparents.
