Kick for a Cause: Choe’s HapKiDo Flowery Branch Runs 7th Annual Kick-a-Thon to Support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

April 19th, 2025 Choe's HapKiDo Flowery Branch hosts 7th Annual Kick-a-Thon. To raise money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 04, 2025 - Choe’s HapKiDo Flowery Branch is rallying the community to join them in kicking childhood illness to the curb during their 7th Annual Kick-a-Thon on Saturday, April 19, 2025. This dynamic event aims to raise funds for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a vital resource for pediatric care throughout the Southeast.
The Kick-a-Thon has evolved into a much-anticipated local tradition, uniting families, martial arts students, and area businesses for an impactful day of kicking and giving. Participants collect pledges from friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors who sponsor them for every minute they kick. Last year, the combined effort from multiple locations raised over $4,000, and this year, Choe’s HapKiDo Flowery Branch is eager to surpass that goal.
“This event is about more than just martial arts—it’s about community, compassion, and making a difference,” says Stephen Malloryi, Co-Owner and Instructor of Choe’s HapKiDo Flowery Branch. “When we come together with purpose, our kicks can make a real impact in the lives of children and families in need.”
A Collaborative Effort Across Locations Choe’s HapKiDo Flowery Branch isn’t going it alone—neighboring schools, including Choe’s HapKiDo Cumming and Choe’s HapKiDo Jefferson, will also participate, forming a powerful coalition to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. With students, instructors, and community members from multiple areas uniting for one cause, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
