Kharkov Machine-Tool Building Plant (HARVEST) has doubled the sales volume in 2017
2017 was not easy, but full of interesting tasks for Kharkov Machine-Tool Building Plant (HARVEST). In February the enterprise was headed by new General Director Aleksandr Shtrasser.
- (1888PressRelease) February 02, 2018 - According to him, there was observed revival both on the foreign and Ukrainian machine-tool building markets. These trends affected the work of enterprise. The large customers in the sectors of energy and engineering became more active.
Aleksandr Shtrasser finds the big achievement that in 2017 the plant fully paid off the salaries and fulfilled its obligations on taxes and dues transition to budgets of all levels.
Another success is the results of HARVEST financial and economic activity. In 2017 the volume of product sales came to UAH 44,3 mln with the growth rate of 196 % compared to 2016.
"Today we have large order portfolio and good workload. The main customers of HARVEST are the companies of Kazakh, Baltic states, countries of Eastern Europe, pointed out the plant Director. At the end of last year we signed major agreement for 15 months with enterprise of Kazakh mining and smelting sector ArcelorMittal Temirtau.
The agreement concerns the carrying out the complete overhaul with modernization of roll-grinding machine 3415Е. The plant's obligations are the project implementation, start-up works, installation supervision and commissioning. The machine-tool will be equipped with inspection unit, allowing to identify even minor defects of processed products by nondestructive ultrasonic and eddy-current methods. In addition, the machine will be equipped with CNC from SIEMENS of latest modification. The designers of Test Center "Experimental Design Bureau of Grinding Machines" will also develop the up-to-date versions of technology software for 3415Е. As a result of reconstruction the higher productivity of the machine-tool will be achieved.
It is supposed that in every shift the aggregate will be able to grind eight rollers of 20 t each, which are used in rolling machines. The accuracy and quality of their processing will also be increased. With the purpose of automation and selection of the most correct technological mode there will be added a function of operative measurement of geometrical profiles of rollers, using special high-precision loop.
In addition, HARVEST is going to modernize the machine park of Kharkov Bearing Plant (HARP). Now the technical data for renewal of 14 units of equipment has been examining.
The beginning of 2018 is marked by signing of the agreement with Amkodor Holding, Belarus. Under the terms of this agreement HARVEST will produce a new spindle unit for grinding machine 3М151. "The nearest plans are to continue cooperation with this customer," said General Director of the company.
"It is planned a double increase of production and selling in the agricultural machinery sector. We are going to expand the product range and develop the production of new units and products", said Aleksandr Shtrasser. He recalled that since 2017 the enterprise has adopted new direction of production manufacture of spare parts for agricultural machinery within the strategic partnership with one of the leading manufacturers of agricultural equipment of Ukraine.
Due to the growth of production and the introduction of new technological processes, in 2018 HARVEST will completely re-equip the paint shop, that will improve the quality of painting in accordance with international standards.
The plant is going to purchase a shot blasting chamber, plasma cutter and bandsawing machines.
"The demand for specialists has also increased. We need qualified workers and engineers", noted General Director.
