KeyTrak to Unveil New Touchscreen Monitor, Compact Server at NADA 2012
KeyTrak's touchscreen monitor and Compact Server increase users' productivity, maximize space and power efficiency, and more.
- College Station-Bryan, TX (1888PressRelease) January 27, 2012 - KeyTrak, Inc., the leading provider of key and asset management systems, will unveil two new system features at the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and Expo February 3-6, 2012. The features include a small form factor server called the KeyTrak Compact Server and a 17-inch LCD touchscreen monitor.
"KeyTrak is continually seeking ways to offer our customers better-performing systems," said Richard Battle, Vice President of Sales for KeyTrak. "Our objective is to make system users more productive while preserving the high security measures of the system. These new features do just that. The touchscreen monitor and KeyTrak Compact Server not only give the KeyTrak system a sleek new look, but also serve valuable practical functions."
The touchscreen monitor is designed to improve efficiency for users who perform a high number of key transactions per day, including salespeople, porters and service technicians. Whereas checking out keys on a KeyTrak system with a traditional monitor requires a series of mouse clicks and/or keyboard commands, the touchscreen gives users the option to perform transactions simply by touching the screen.
Due to its smaller size, the Compact Server offers clients greater space efficiency without limiting the number of functions that can be performed on the KeyTrak system. The Compact Server will also appeal to clients looking to reduce their power consumption, as the smaller server uses only 200 watts of electricity as opposed to the 450 watts consumed by the KeyTrak Classic Server, KeyTrak's standard size server.
The Compact Server can accommodate up to eight KeyTrak drawers and will be included as a standard offering with the purchase of new KeyTrak systems. Customers who require more than eight drawers will have the option to upgrade to the Classic Server, which can accommodate up to 24 drawers.
NADA attendees may visit KeyTrak at booth #1921 to learn more about these new features. For more information about KeyTrak, visit www.keytrak.com.
