KeyCentrix Announces Support of NCPDP D.0
KeyCentrix, LLC, announces support of NCPDP D.0 and 5.1 formats in advance of the compliance deadline of January 2012.
- (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2011 - KeyCentrix, LLC, announces the support of D.0 formats for its RxKey® Pharmacy Management Software. This announcement comes more than a month before the NCPDP Telecommunications Standard compliance deadline of January 1, 2012. The latest release of the RxKey software supports both the new D.0 format, and the current 5.1 format, ensuring RxKey customers experience no interruption in service during the transition.
Chief Operating Officer, Elie Khalife, credits the KeyCentrix staff and customers with the timeliness of the D.0 release. "Our dedicated staff has worked diligently to complete the required changes ahead of schedule," said Khalife. NCPDP Telecommunications Standard Version D.0 is an updated version of the HIPAA standard for claims transactions. This new standard affects many healthcare entities, including pharmacies. Implementation of D.0 formats for pharmacy software vendors, such as KeyCentrix, includes software development and certification with many individual third parties.
