Keturah said, "Creating music is a therapeutic way of bridge the gaps in my soul. World as we know it today is a composition of fractured cultures and an even more a disenchanted people. With all the dark impressions imposed daily upon the people, they are left to feel powerless - left to see no wonder in the day. This is my way to reach out to the people I have not met and say Hello and hopefully Hug them. With my Music I want to infect people with good feelings and what a Hug from me would feel like.
When asked if any pain inspired some works Keturah replies,
"I've been through some hells on this Earth, still going through a few, and may go through so more. YET I know People can be just as loving as they can be vicious/ignorant/hateful. You will ride my ride listening to my work. I'm not one to say I 'believe' you can't have love without pain. I'm not so dualistic in nature - I know they are the same. To think on that can feel complicated and intricate if you haven't done any work and will depend heavily on a personal level of acceptance of the world and SELF. "
Why do you work in all the genres and attempt to fuse so many different styles?
" Some people can't escape the One genre they released into - I can't help but be all over the musical map, not in attention deficit way yet in a way that gives props to all the genres. Music is a language we all can understand I aim to speak and learn as many as my mind can hold. Everyone deserves to be heard - I am listening to them and responding through music. Besides NO ONE person is all one Genre of Music - if they were they'd lull us to sleep. So when I wanna count sheep I will listen to some and when awake and LIVING - ya know living (she gives and dance) - I want it ALL!"
