Kermel Insulright(R) turns up the heat at CWIEME in Berlin
Kermel of France, a manufacturer of heat- and flame-resistant aramid-fibre protective clothing, has launched Kermel Insulright® paper. Kermel will present this new thermal and electrical insulating paper at the Coil, Winding, Insulations and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition (CWIEME), which will take place in Berlin (Germany) from 24 to 26 May 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2011 - Kermel, which has 50 years' experience in the aramid-fibre market, has created Kermel Insulright® for use in thermal and electrical insulation. It is particularly well suited to high-temperature environments of up to 180°C.
Kermel Insulright® represents a major breakthrough in the market for high-temperature insulating paper, where innovation is rare due to the high level of technicality and performance required. Kermel Insulright® offers an attractive alternative to the solutions currently available in the aramid-paper market.
Kermel Insulright® is available in calendered or non-calendered form, as well as triple-layer laminate, including either a polyester or polyimide film.
The Kermel Insulright® range of paper is available in a variety of thicknesses (such as 50, 80 or 130 microns and above) and in a variety of formats (such as rolls, which are about 1,000mm wide, and ribbons).
Kermel Insulright® has good mechanical and electrical properties of more than 14 kilovolts per millimetre.
