The event is hosted by Innovative Career Consultants, based in Denver, CO with a new office in Cincinnati, OH. Kathy will speak on When People Clash in the Workplace. The event is by invitation only and will take place at a local Cincinnati Country Club.

Cooperman explained that organizations everywhere face conflict in the workplace. People at all levels of the organization are challenged with how to react when they run into unexpected conflict. "It occurs at every level-from shop floor to the executive suite", Cooperman said.

She will help business leaders in attendance understand the nature of conflict: where it comes from and how to handle it. "We each have a favorite style for dealing with conflict. When we understand our own tendencies and then understand the choices we have . . . conflict is a little easier to manage", said Cooperman.

She explained that some of the more problematic types of conflict occur in the C-Suite-that is amongst the most senior-level leaders in organizations. "When managed well, conflict can be an asset to an organization, creating the rich diversity of ideas needed for problem solving and decision making", explained Cooperman.
