JustIndianSchools launches School profiling for Specially-abled Schools
JustIndianSchools has recently launched a profile section for specially abled schools / schools for children with learning disabilities in India.

This is a CSR initiative by JustIndianSchools, inorder to bring under one umbrella all schools in the country and support parents with required information about schools. JustIndianSchools would like to associate with schools encouraging children with special abilities to be a part of our online profiling of schools. Schools and teachers are invited to join the community and the online profiling is a free service for specially abled schools across India.

Information, though conservative, shows that there are more than 70 million disabled people in India. One in every ten children or 3% of the country's total child population also falls in this category. The government itself admits that of the total disabled population, only 2% are educated and 1% employed. No effort or priority is being made to give them a better world - a small gift of a hearing aid, wheelchair or Braille kit will make a difference.
Parents are often worried when their child has some learning problems in school. There are many reasons for school failure, but a common one is a specific learning disability. Children with learning disabilities have a normal range of intelligence however specially abled children need special attention and care due to insufficiently developed mental intelligence.
