About the founders:
Lindsey Holt and Coley Arnold were born with junking in their blood. Both grew up attending estate and garage sales with their parents starting at a young age and continued to do so through their college years. Upon meeting each other in 2008, the girls immediately shared a common bond of always wanting more junk in their trunks. They quickly realized that the valley lacked an event where local vendors could showcase their unique finds for all to see, enjoy and buy. It wasn't until 2011 while together on a vacation in the northwest and Canada that the pair seriously considered working together. Junk in the Trunk Vintage Markets was born in the back yard of a local Scottsdale home back in September 2011 with 25 local vendors. After word traveled quickly about the event, over 600 shoppers attended the first market causing traffic jams on local streets. The gals quickly realized that they needed to find a larger home. The vintage market moved to its current home at Westworld Scottsdale in the spring of 2012 and has since expanded their footprint to include over 45,000 square feet of rusty and chippy goodness.
