Junior League of Raleigh and Belk Host Fashion Forward March 10

  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) February 23, 2013 - The Junior League of Raleigh and Belk are teaming up again for the 2nd annual Fashion Forward, a benefit celebrating the season's must-have trends on Sunday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at Belk Crabtree Valley Mall.

    The event will feature a runway fashion show at 7 p.m., presenting all the latest spring fashions from Belk. Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages, while shopping before and after the fashion show. There will also be a special guest appearance by renowned fashion designer Karen Kane.

    "We are excited to partner with Belk again this year on this glamorous and fun evening, which supports the League, the Center for Community Leadership, our training center, and the League's community programs serving promising youth," said Pat Wilkins, President of the Junior League of Raleigh.

    General admission tickets are $30 each and include food and drink, a gift bag and a $10 Belk gift card. VIP tickets are $75 each and include food and drink, a pre-event reception, an upgraded gift bag, a $10 Belk gift card, fashion show priority seating and one Diamonds & Champagne Raffle ticket. All ticket holders will receive a 20 percent discount* on their regular and sale priced purchases during the evening's event hours, with very limited exclusions. (*15 percent discount on shoes and housewares)

    Tickets are available to the public and may be purchased on the League's website, www.jlraleigh.org. All event proceeds go to the Junior League of Raleigh to support its community partnerships, volunteer service and leadership training.
